The need

As Head of UX, I was responsible for:

ASSA ABLOY needed to unify its global B2B online experiences into a scalable solution while strengthening the Yale Doorman brand in the Chilean market. The goal was to create a locally adapted e-Store that would increase traffic and sales, addressing both internal and external user needs.

The assignment

  • Harmonising ASSA ABLOY’s global B2B online experiences into a unified platform.

  • Leading the development of a localised e-Store for Yale Doorman in Chile.

  • Conducting extensive user research and creating prototypes for the new platform.

  • Facilitating workshops and user testing sessions with focus groups.

  • Regularly collaborating with stakeholders and project leads to ensure alignment with project goals and user needs.

  • Coordinating with the Lead UI Designer and European teams to integrate design solutions effectively.

ADDED VALUE

The locally adapted e-Store for Yale Doorman led to a significant increase in traffic and sales in the Chilean market. The unified B2B platform improved the overall online experience for both internal and external users. The project demonstrated successful planning, coordination, and execution, resulting in a more cohesive and user-centric solution.
